What if u had a week to live? You would probably want to do everything that you can to make sure you rest knowing that you left every one in your life okay. You dont want to carry the weight of mistreating someone badly and then you dont have another chance to say sorry. It hurts if at one point you really change totally from the person you used to be and start mistreating the people you love.
A guy who had been in a relationship for two years and married this beautiful lady started entertaining a college girl who was a few years younger than his now wife. The wife came to find out at one point that his husband was seeing someone. The day he confronted him, he promised to change. Soon he was back at it and he grew cold more and more towards his wife.
The wife knew it wasnt right but decided to either way be a loving and faithful wife. She spoke to him on one occasion and with tears he mentioned that, "Charlie, i know u r cheating on me even though u deny, bt i have chosen to love you with all my heart. Just know that I will be waiting for you to come home ."
Later on as she left to buy charcoal, his hubby had left work earlier and went to meet a girlfriend on an evening date so that he came home early. He called his wife to tell her that the phone was low on battery which was a lie so he switched it off.
Immediately he hangup, his wife was crossing the road back home when a reckless motorbike rider knocked her causing her to fall rolling onto the main highway where a speeding PSV matatu crashed her skull.
Somebody tried to call Charlie but he was not available till when he came back home to the sad news.
He couldn't bear the pain of not being faithful and there for his beloved wife. You never know how long that special person is going to be in your life. Treat him or her right..because life is too short and you dont make up for lost time.
If there is good you can do, then do it now. Go make up and give your best to that special person that God gave you.
