HOW TO BECOME A BETTER YOU - ACCEPTING YOUR MISTAKES

Nobody wants to go through embarrassment. Many people can do their best to avoid it by all means including faking and lying. From time to time, we do things which we regret and wish we never did them. At times we hurt those around us and sometimes even our own selves. Mistakes or rather error is inevitable in someone’s life and people are meant to learn from mistakes. But denial of this fact will mean you failed the simple test to take you to the next level.

As a young Christian, boy or girl, we also make mistakes here and there. Some are made public but most of them are covered. This are simple tests that come our way, at times to test our perseverance, patience, integrity and even commitment. Running away from such doesn’t help you in any way. You only grow when you face your test.

Admitting when you make a mistake is the first step to

winning. A winner is that person who will bounce back when they fall down. Playing safe and nice at many times wont help you grow but knowing that you are human and therefore will fall from time to time helps you to be more conscious and make the right decisions at the challenging times. Have you wondered why the very innocent and the arrogant ones are the ones who become pregnant or impregnate others or fail in some area?

Being careful, not to point fingers at others who have fallen will save you trouble when your day comes. Just because God has covered your mistakes it doesn’t make you better than the rest. The bible says, judge not and you wont be judged. 

When you have done something wrong towards someone, be a winner by admitting your mistakes. It is always an opportunity presenting itself for you to grow. When you wrong before God, also admit your mistakes, God forgives them who admit their wrong doing and even gives them a second chance. Blaming others means you are passing that opportunity to grow to them and instead you show that you are weak and insecure.

Accepting your mistakes will take you to a whole new level of growth, happiness and fulfillment there is always a second chance when you go wrong. Learn from your mistakes and move on. God wont put you to shame if you admit your mistakes.
