The metro-sexual man is not a homosexual. Caring about his personal looks and beautiful ladies in equal measure.
David Beckham is a popular metro-sexual man in the world. He’s easy on the eyes and has a significant number of female admirers because of his grooming and fashion sense. Johnny Bravo from cartoon network is another illustration of metro-sexuality. With his usual catch phrase ‘Hey sexy mama’, Johnny only cares about his abs, maintaining his blond hair and picking up chicks. Johnny used to say things like ‘Man, I’m pretty’ and ‘You look pretty… I look pretty…Why don’t we go home and stare at each other’. He made a conscious effort to look pretty just like other gentlemen in our current society but this doesn't mean that metro-sexuals are airheads.
The metro-sexual has gradual build up from caring about his clothes to starting to develop his personal style. He starts washing his face daily then he uses specific brands to cleanse his face and fight break-outs. They are easily admired but some of them go over the edge and leave ladies wondering if they are feminine enough.
