Players give FKF, KPL one week to solve their differences


It is now clear that Kenyan football players are not happy with the ongoing wrangles between FKF and KPL. This comes as the two managements decided to run two different leagues after they failed to come to an amicable solution.

The players have agreed that FKF and KPL should sort out their issues in less than one week failure to which they will mobilize football fans in the country for a mass demonstration. They said at the City stadium where a representative from all the 14 clubs where they agreed that for the better of football in the country KPL and FKF have to sort out their differences. 

The players are also opting to boycott
the ongoing leagues if no solution is reached between the managements.

They also asked the Sports minister Hassan Wario to act immediately on the situation fearing that if nothing is done sponsors may run away from the clubs they are sponsoring.

As the wrangles continues, FKF Chair Sam Nyamwea says that Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards are requesting to join the FKF league.
