Govt places Sh20m bounty on terror suspect

The govt has placed a Sh20m bounty on terror suspect Mohamed Kuno aka Gamathere who is accused of masterminding the Garissa University attack.

Security sources say that Gamathere had planned the execution of the attack and was already wanted over several attacks in the Northern Kenya last year.

At the same time the number of casualties in the immediate Garissa attack has increased with 15 people announced dead and 56 others injured.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has already addressed the Nation on the same where he has has assured the country that the govt has undertaken appropriate of security officers to counter the terrorists who have attacked Garissa University.

The president has also directed police inspector Joseph Boinet to ensure 10,000 recruits whose enrollment is pending due to a court injunction be admitted at Kingajo training school immediately.
