Kenya to Host Somalia, Rwanda Tie

Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, will host the return leg of the African U23 Championship qualifier game pitting Somalia against Rwanda on Saturday 9 May.

This is due to insecurity concerns in
Somalia. Rwanda coach Johnny McKinstry summoned a team of 24 provisional players that reported to a residential camp on Monday 20 April in preparation for the first leg slated for Sunday 25 April at Amahoro Stadium.

Uganda next
The aggregate winner will meet Uganda in the second round before taking on Egypt, who were given a bye, en route to the CAF U23 Championship finals in Senegal between 5 – 19 December 2015.
In the same competition, the Kenyan Under 23 team will take on Botswana on Saturday 24 April at the 20 000-seater Lobatse Sports Complex in Lobatse Town before hosting the return leg in Nairobi on Saturday 9 May at the Nyayo National Stadium.
