WHY YOUR PAST CAN’T DEFINE YOUR FUTURE
We all have our pasts on which we stand and look back and definitely call that our past. Most of us from humble backgrounds, families of in separations, poverty, single parented and even orphaned. Most of this people who undergo such experience surprisingly are the people who come up and succeed in a very fast and awesome manner. You will agree with me that most of the great companies and enterprises running in this beautiful motherland of ours – Kenya are been controlled and managed by people from humble backgrounds and poor upbringing.
The likes of James Mwangi the CEO of Equity Bank – Kenya. He had great vision and very humble beginning. He was brought up by a single mother of who suffered a lot and mainly struggled to get something to put on the table as a meal for her poor children. But James never saw himself in that situation for the years ahead of him, yet he adhered and accepted his status and circumstances but he never let the power of giving up or mislead control him. He followed his dreams and visions and its evident today that his persistence paid.
You can start from anywhere and be what you ought to be. There is no limit to dreaming big. The best thing you do for now is the reality of events that will happen to you in the future. Don’t let what you go through be a blockage to your success or stop you from focusing on your dreams. The worst thing you can do to yourself is letting your past and upbringing be an excuse for not succeeding in life.
You got only two choices in life at this generation. One to wake up and chase out for that dream you got or Two keep on sleeping/waiting for that dream.
